One of my coaches used to have this thing he called "The 5 Minute Rule". I come back to this rule anytime I don't want to do something.

For example, when I'm feeling sluggish and don't want to work out, when I'm uninspired and don't want to work, or when I feel overwhelmed about cleaning my house. And 9 times out of 10, it snaps me out of my slump and gets me moving.
