Hi all and welcome to Mental Monday. My name is Lindsey Wilson, and this is the mindset coach Academy podcast. Alright, guys, I want to talk about what to do when you feel small, what to do when you're in that mindset of, you're not enough, or you have low confidence or sort of really any sort of negative place. And for me, I experienced this, I call it a low vibe cycle.

But I really experience it as a lot of things happen in my brain. But again, I think I can go back to like, I kind of just feel small, like, I may feel uninspired, or I might get confused or overwhelmed, or I don't know what I'm supposed to be working on. Or I just kind of have a lot of doubts. And there's a lot of strategies for getting out of that.

But I would say one of the most obvious is working to create value for other people. Now, you know, things like gratitude work also. But I would say, for me the actionable piece of creating value, such as like this podcast or writing even if it's nothing that I even share out into the world.

Although that I would say that's the next level of actually sharing and seeing somebody else get the benefit from your brain. That's kind of the next level. But even if I write down something of value that can be reached that is that first step right. And similarly, like crawling yourself out of a low vibe cycle is like the small steps that eventually gets you sort of spiraling up instead of spiraling down.

And I would say just that idea of creating value for others, does a couple of things. For me one, it gets me to see that what how my brain works. And what I think about actually does have value even in those moments of low vibe. What my coach always says is, your low vibe cycle is actually somebody else's high vibe cycle. And I really see that when I create something.

But I will also say that if I do it out in the world, and I get positive feedback, that is like a bonus, but that's not necessary, excuse me, I'm gonna sneeze. But I will say also, like, one of the main things that really helps is, it just kind of gets you to stop thinking about yourself. Like, again, if I get feedback from somebody else, that's like a bonus.

But it's not even really about that because you don't you can't control if you're gonna get that or not. But it makes me feel value in the world. And sorry, a little bit of a cold, and makes me get outside my own brain. And kind of see it from a different perspective. Like, I can look at what I wrote and be like, yes, it has value, and someone else would really benefit from this.

And so that helps me just sort of like climbing out of that low vibe cycle. And I think the first step is like stopping the spiral down. And this is just a little trick for you. Like if you are in that negative space. Instead of just like trying to think positive or trying to feel better create value in the world just create something of value for somebody else.

And for me, a lot of that is writing and creating, but maybe it also is actually helping somebody, having a conversation with somebody or talking to them or coaching them, I get the opportunity to coach someone when I'm in a low-value, low vibe cycle, I pretty much immediately pop out of it, because I'm like, oh, this person who's getting help. And so for me, that really, really helps.

So I want to share that to you because I think it's really easy to get into a negative mindset. And it's actually really easy to get out of it too. If you're feeling negative or feeling down or feeling yourself sort of spiraling down.

Again, this isn't for mental health issues. This is just for like the normal sort of low vibe cycle that we all experienced at some point. Don't try to get out of it.
