Hi, all, and welcome to Mental Monday. And the Mindset Coach Academy is where we talk about one tool, tip, or technique that's going to help you in your life. Today, this week, I want to talk about a single story that you may be telling yourself a single story that can be so demotivating that it takes on a life of its own.

And it may be running in the background, and you don't even know it. And this is the story of it's not happening fast enough. It's not happening fast enough. Just thinking that story is demotivating. It drastically changes how you are going to show up in your business in your life and your relationships today. So this is a powerful thought.

And it may feel like it's a thought that is true. And I want to remind you that it is not true. Stories are just stories, they are not facts. Facts are things that are absolutely not an opinion, not a feeling, not a thought they are unchanged, and unchangeable. This is a story. And it's a story that my guess is, is not serving you.

I see this all the time with my coaching certification students, that they want their success to happen faster. And if they've been doing it for a while, it just isn't happening fast enough, or sort of the sister thought to that is, it's too late for me, those are bold, or you know, armed or I'm too old, something around those lines, basically all this feeling of being rushed.

It's not enough, it's not happening fast enough, it's too late, whatever it is, that panicky feeling that I guarantee is coming through in everything that you do, including your work with your clients. And it leads to demotivation, frustration, and just blah. And so what I want you to do, is I want you to play with shifting that thought.

Now we don't need to shift that thought to you know, it's early or, you know, take all the time you want. It's more about like, something sort of medium that it's a thought that you can believe and that you can feel purposeful, joyful. Maybe not excited about but at least more motivated.

Something like as I work towards my goals, things happen at the pace they're supposed to. Things are happening in the background all the time. You know, the braver I get, the more success comes to me. These are all thoughts you can borrow, you can change them to whatever works for you. But what I, the main part of this podcast that I really want you to pay attention to, is this thought happening for you. And potentially is it happening in the background.

Now, there's nothing wrong with being impatient at times, like I feel that way. Like I want it to happen. And to some degree that can be good. I can get a whole lot done. If I'm able to manage that and not make it frantic, and not make it rushed.

So this is something you have to play with for yourself. But pay attention to that story that you may be telling yourself and how it's making you feel and then shifting it. That's my challenge for you today. Yeah, you can do this. And this thought it can be really debilitating. But it's really easy to fix once you're aware of it.

And so I want you to be aware of it and I want you to shift it. And then I want you to come up on Instagram and tell me either my DMs or in stories. Tell me how this episode allowed you to maybe just take a deep breath maybe with not feeling rushed and frantic you can actually get some shit done. Alright, guys, that's your mental Monday.
