Hi all and welcome to Mindset Coach Academy podcast. My name is Lindsey Wilson, and it is mental Monday where we talk about one thing you can implement in your life. And today I want to talk about finding that white space of creativity. And we've talked about this, before we'll talk about it again, talked about it all the time. whitespace is finding that space in your life that is blank, that could be a blank piece of paper, that could be a journal, but it can also be space that has no stimuli coming in.

And so for me, often this is on a walk or a run. I think honestly, the best place is the pool because it's sort of that sensory deprivation. And so I want to challenge you, and I have a couple of questions for you. If you like having some questions, we're talking in our monthly coaching about going back to our life pillars, which is something that we work on a lot and finding that next level.

And so my challenge for you this week is to find that space in your life, whether that is sitting down with a piece of paper or a journal, or it's going for a walk or while you're exercising, but the key is not having an hour sometimes it's hard to have none but to not have, you know intentional stimuli coming at you.

So no podcasts, no listening to music, literally just doing whatever it is you're doing. And again, for me, I know a lot of you are athletes, moving our bodies or being out in nature, or, as I said, a pool or something that where there's a different connection to the space around you can be powerful.

And how are we going to find it, great? And I want you to think about these questions whether you answer them specifically or not having the container to think about these sorts of bigger questions. And again, in our coaching, we're focusing on sort of life stuff.

So I wanted to share some of the questions we are proposing to our students, which, what do you really want in your life? What is your next level? What would you do if you weren't scared? And what feels like it is pulling you. I particularly love this last question. Because if you are an energetic person, and try to listen to your intuition, sometimes it is difficult. Without finding that blank space in your life to articulate what exactly is pulling you.

You may have this sort of fate feeling or this sort of nagging sense. It's often like a sense that something else is out there for you. And spending some time just contemplating it, even if you can't answer it in words. Even if the exact answer doesn't come to you, you know that you are making progress on it by allowing yourself that whitespace in your life. So that's my challenge to you this week.
